I was seriously uncomfortable walking through dimly lit hallways. The bathroom felt cramped, and I found the overall room size smaller than expected. Additionally, I felt it was inconvenient to have to search for nearby restaurants for meals instead of having on-site dining options.

City Express by Marriott in Heredia has some redeeming qualities, but a lot to improve upon. The positive side included the staff's friendly demeanor and prompt assistance when needed. they promptly helped when I had a plumbing issue in my room. WiFi connection was decent, and the fact that breakfast was included made mornings easier. However, the overall experience was marred by several issues. The rooms were smaller than expected and lacked basic amenities. a fridge would have made my stay more comfortable. The hotel itself felt outdated and in need of maintenance, giving an uninviting vibe. The lighting in the lobby was dim, making me feel uneasy while walking to my room, an adjustment that could easily enhance guest comfort. Additionally, the absence of an on-site restaurant forced me to venture out for meals, which wasn't convenient, especially after a long day of travel. I had a mix of experiences at this hotel, with potential shining through but overshadowed by operational shortcomings.

my stay at city express by marriott was a pleasant surprise. the friendly staff, especially victoria, made me feel right at home. the breakfast spread was generous and definitely a highlight for my relaxing break.
